Kent and Lisa have been married since 1988. They grew up together in Delavan, IL where they were both raised in Christian homes and attended the United Methodist Church.
Both attended Eastern Illinois University. Kent retired in 2025 after serving in the senior living industry for the last twenty years of his career. Lisa was an elementary school teacher before retiring to raise the family.
They moved to Bloomington in 1996 and have attended Westside since 2022. They have four grown children, three grandchildren (with two on the way!).
Kent was part of the Elders’ team that helped launch Westside in 2022 and served as chair of the Elders from its inception through June 2026. He continues to serve as an Elder at Westside. Lisa has also been active as a leader of the Women’s Wednesday Morning Bible Study.
Kent enjoys golf, travel, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, and University of Illinois sports.
Lisa loves spending time with grandchildren, the Chicago Cubs, reading, and pool time.
